The Planetarium – Trondheim’s window to the universe!

Experience the Magic of the Planetarium!
Behind the large, glittering sphere in Vitensenteret’s courtyard lies an unforgettable experience. Inside the planetarium, you are completely surrounded by a giant 360-degree screen that transports you to distant galaxies, right beneath a starry sky that feels absolutely real.

Here you can zoom through outer space, dive into spectacular 360-degree films, and lose yourself in a world of sound, light, and imagery unlike anything you have seen before. It is spectacular. It is educational. And quite frankly, it is pure magic.

There is a good reason why the planetarium is one of our absolute most popular attractions.

When can you experience it?
Screenings are primarily held on weekends and school holidays. We also host immersive listening nights and accept group bookings for special events. Entry to the planetarium is included in your regular Vitensenteret ticket.
